At most casinos there is no promo code to hunt for: the welcome bonus is activated by selecting it at deposit. Of the 28 casinos we list, only 4 use codes (CrownSlots, EvoSpin, Kings Chance and HunnyPlay), and our reviews state explicitly that 19 of them need no code for the welcome bonus.
When a code does exist, it has a specific job: unlocking no-deposit free spins, picking a High Roller offer instead of the standard bonus, or activating each step of a package. Here are the working codes, where to enter them, and why a code is not a better bonus in itself.
What is a casino promo code for?
1. Unlocking a no-deposit offer
The most common use: entered at sign-up, the code credits free spins without any deposit. These offers are often reserved for visitors from a partner site, hence the code.
2. Choosing between bonuses
When a casino has two offers for the same deposit (standard or High Roller), the code tells it which one you want. Without a code, you get the standard offer.
3. Activating each package step
Some casinos give a different code for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd deposit. Forget the code for one step and you usually lose that step.
Working promo codes at the casinos we list
Codes taken from our casino data and published reviews, in the order of our ranking. A paused casino drops out of this table automatically.
| Casino | Code | What it unlocks | When to enter it | Wagering |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CrownSlots | ROYAL1 | High Roller: 100% up to €5,000 (min. deposit €500) | At deposit, instead of the standard bonus | x40 |
| EvoSpin | EVOFRST | 1st deposit: 125% up to €2,500 + 125 FS | On the 1st deposit | x40 |
| EvoSpin | EVOSCND | 2nd deposit: 75% up to €2,500 + 75 FS | On the 2nd deposit | x40 |
| EvoSpin | EVOTHRD | 3rd deposit: 85% up to €2,500 + 85 FS | On the 3rd deposit | x40 |
| EvoSpin | EVOHR1ST | High Roller: 150% up to €6,000 + 150 FS | On the 1st deposit, instead of EVOFRST | x40 |
| Kings Chance | 30TOURS | 30 no-deposit free spins | At sign-up | x40 (winnings) |
| HunnyPlay | MON100FS | 100 no-deposit free spins (MonCasinoBonus exclusive code) | At sign-up | x30 (winnings) |
Offers change: the casino’s promotions page and cashier are what count at sign-up or deposit time.
Welcome bonus with no code (19 casinos)
According to our reviews, the welcome bonus needs no code at all at Cosmobet, Velobet, Spin Million, BetFury, Winzter, BetNinja, Lussurio, Golden Mina, WelleBet, CrownSlots, Lucky Treasure Casino, Spin Dynasty, Kings Chance, Pokobet, Celsius, RealSpin, Nomini, Spinanga and HolyLuck. Just select the bonus when you make your first deposit (where a casino on this list also has a code, it is for a separate offer: no-deposit spins or High Roller).
Where and when to enter a promo code
- No-deposit code: at sign-up. The “promo code” or “bonus code” field is usually in the registration form, sometimes hidden behind an “I have a code” link. If it is not there, look in the promotions or bonus tab of your account right after signing up, before any deposit.
- Deposit code: in the cashier, before confirming. Pick the payment method and amount, type the code in its box, check that the bonus shows up, and only then confirm the deposit.
- Check the minimum. A code only applies if the deposit reaches the offer’s minimum: €20 for most steps, far more for a High Roller (€500 at CrownSlots).
- Check your bonus balance before playing. If the bonus is missing, bet nothing and contact support: once the deposit has been played, it is usually too late to get it back.
Type the code exactly as written, in capitals and without spaces. A rejected code is often expired, restricted to another country, or already used on your account: most offers are valid once per player, household and IP address.
A code is not a better bonus: the High Roller example
At CrownSlots, the code ROYAL1 swaps the standard 1st-deposit bonus (125% up to €1,500 + 100 FS) for a 100% High Roller bonus up to €5,000, from a €500 deposit. The ceiling is higher, but the percentage is lower. Here is the bonus amount alone:
| Deposit | Standard bonus (125%) | With ROYAL1 (100%) | Better option |
|---|---|---|---|
| €500 | €625 + 100 FS | €500 | Standard (+€125) |
| €1,000 | €1,250 + 100 FS | €1,000 | Standard (+€250) |
| €1,500 | €1,500 + 100 FS | €1,500 | Standard (same euros, plus the FS) |
| €2,500 | €1,500 + 100 FS | €2,500 | The code (+€1,000) |
| €5,000 | €1,500 + 100 FS | €5,000 | The code (+€3,500) |
The code only pays off above a €1,500 deposit. Below that, the standard bonus gives as many euros or more, plus free spins. And at equal wagering, a bigger bonus also means more betting before you can withdraw: our bonus calculator runs the numbers for any amount.
The same logic applies at EvoSpin: the code EVOHR1ST gives 150% instead of 125% on the 1st deposit, but our review describes it as an alternative to the welcome package. Taking it most likely means giving up the 2nd and 3rd deposit bonuses: check in the cashier before confirming, and only choose it if you plan a single large deposit.
No-deposit codes: what the free spins are really worth
The most searched-for codes are the ones giving no-deposit free spins (30TOURS at Kings Chance, MON100FS at HunnyPlay). They cost nothing, but their winnings are subject to wagering. The maths, assuming €0.10 per spin (a common value, check the offer’s terms) and a slot that pays back 96% of stakes:
| Offer | Average spin winnings | Amount to wager | Average loss while wagering |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 spins at €0.10, x40 wagering | €2.88 | €115.20 | €4.61 |
| 100 spins at €0.10, x30 wagering | €9.60 | €288.00 | €11.52 |
| 100 spins at €0.20, x30 wagering | €19.20 | €576.00 | €23.04 |
In all three cases the average loss while wagering is larger than the spin winnings: on average, nothing is left to withdraw. These are averages: free spins sometimes land a much bigger win, and that is when a withdrawal becomes possible. So treat a no-deposit code as a free way to try a casino, not as income. Our RTP guide explains where the 4% average loss comes from, and our no-deposit bonus page lists other offers of this kind.
“Exclusive codes” and fake codes: traps to avoid
- The fake exclusive code. When a casino does not use codes, a site advertising an “exclusive code” is sending you to the standard bonus everyone gets. A real exclusive code unlocks an offer that does not exist without it (no-deposit spins, for example).
- The paid code. Promo codes are never sold. A service selling them is a scam.
- The expired code. Codes posted on forums or social media often expire. Rely on the casino’s promotions page or a recent review.
- The code hiding poor terms. A code changes none of the bonus rules: max bet, time limit, win cap and excluded games apply as with any offer. Our article on the hidden rules of a casino bonus covers what to check.

⚠️ A bonus is a tool, not a reason to play
A code that “gives” spins or doubles a deposit pushes you to play more, and for longer, to clear the wagering. Never deposit more than planned just to reach a code’s minimum, set a deposit limit in your account and stop when you reach it. Checklist before entering a code
- Does the casino really use a code for this offer?
- Is the code entered at sign-up or in the cashier?
- Does my deposit reach the offer’s minimum?
- Does the code replace another offer that is better for my amount?
- What wagering, max bet and time limit apply?
- Does the bonus show in my balance before I play?
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a promo code to get the welcome bonus?
Usually not: at the vast majority of the casinos we list, the bonus is activated by selecting it when you deposit. Codes are mainly used for no-deposit offers, High Roller bonuses and a few casinos that give each step of their package its own code.
Where do I enter a casino promo code?
Depending on the offer, in the sign-up form (a “promo code” or “bonus code” field), in the cashier when you deposit, or in the promotions tab of your account. The code must be entered before or during the deposit: afterwards it is usually too late.
Can I add a promo code after depositing?
Rarely. Most casinos tie the bonus to the deposit itself. If you forgot the code, contact support before you bet anything: once the balance has been played, the bonus usually cannot be added.
Does an exclusive promo code give a better bonus?
Not necessarily. An exclusive code is negotiated by a partner site and can unlock an offer you will not find elsewhere, such as no-deposit free spins. But when a casino does not use codes at all, a site promising an “exclusive code” is simply sending you to the standard bonus.
Can I withdraw winnings from a no-deposit code?
Yes, once you have met the stated wagering and, often, made a first deposit and verified your identity. Free spin winnings land in your bonus balance and must be bet the required number of times before they can be withdrawn.
